Through policy interpretation, corporate presentations, consultations, and project launches, the event showcased Beijing's investment environment and overseas opportunities to enterprises and institutions from Beijing and BRI partner countries.

Zhang Tong, Second-Level Inspector of the Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, stated that as a key hub in the Belt and Road Initiative and an important gateway for China's opening-up, Beijing continues to strengthen connectivity and cooperation with BRI partner countries. He noted that Beijing remains an ideal destination for enterprises seeking to expand in China and access global opportunities, and welcomed greater investment in the city.

During the event, officials from the Beijing Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Beijing Municipal Health Commission introduced key policies, including the "Three-Year Action Plan for Beijing Digital Economy Enterprise Outward Innovation Service Base (2026-2028)," updates on the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference to be held in Beijing this summer, and a Pilot Program for Expanding the Opening of the Medical Field in Beijing. Representatives from the Beijing CBD Administrative Committee, Shunyi district, Changping district, and the Daxing International Airport Economic Zone outlined their business environments, industrial planning, spatial layouts, and resource strengths.

In the corporate session, a representative from the Beijing Appraisal Society shared insights on asset valuation and risk control in cross-border investment. Several companies presented their experiences in medical technology transformation, international expansion, the "International Capacity Cooperation Express" project, and BRI-related industrial investment and operations.

Entrepreneurs also held discussions and matchmaking sessions on investing in Beijing and expanding overseas. Many participants said the event deepened their understanding of Beijing's industrial landscape and investment potential, and expressed interest in further engagement with relevant districts. The Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau will continue to follow up on project leads and promote cooperation.
