The 2026 Invest in Beijing Conference will be held on March 25 at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center in Beijing.

A number of major investment projects in technology services, intelligent manufacturing and healthcare will be signed at the event, injecting fresh momentum into Beijing's industrial development.

To further expand Beijing's global cooperation network and support enterprises going abroad, the city has launched the Belt and Road Comprehensive Service Platform, integrating government public services with professional market resources to provide authoritative, one-stop services.

At the conference, the platform's Sci-tech Going Global Lounge will be officially unveiled, designed to meet the business development needs of innovation-driven enterprises and enable seamless integration of technological innovation with overseas expansion support.

Meanwhile, the first batch of key projects will also be signed at the conference under the venture capital guidance fund from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, marking the initial capital contribution and ushering in a new phase of substantive investment. It is expected to drive the development of strategic emerging industries and future-oriented sectors throughout the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The national-level regional fund, with a total scale of 50 billion yuan ($ 6.95 billion), is jointly backed by the National Venture Capital Guidance Fund, China Investment Corporation, eight system enterprises, relevant entities from the Bank of China, and stakeholders across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, with CICC Capital Management Co Ltd serving as its fund manager.

In addition, the conference will feature a roundtable discussion titled "Integration and Innovation: A New Ecosystem for Biomedicine". The session will bring together leaders from the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, top domestic institutions including Beijing Cancer Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital, senior executives from multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Bayer, as well as representatives from investment firms including Temasek.

Participants will engage in in-depth exchanges on biomedical industry innovation, the integration of medicine and engineering, cross-border collaboration and healthcare policy support. The roundtable aims to explore new pathways for Beijing to establish itself as a hub of global influence for biomedical innovation.

At the conference, 17 consultation booths representing districts and E-Town across Beijing will be set up, organized into six one-on-one zones covering intelligent manufacturing, next-generation IT, new energy, biomedicine, integrated circuits and new materials. Over 80 enterprises seeking financing and 150 investment institutions will participate, providing an efficient channel to match projects with capital.

High-growth projects in cutting-edge fields such as next-generation IT, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing and new materials will also be showcased through roadshows, facilitating the final step from project conception to implementation.

Over 800 global enterprises and institutions have confirmed their participation in the conference, with more than 600 key guests expected on-site. Attendees include internationally renowned experts, executives from Fortune 500 companies, partners from top global investment firms, and diplomatic envoys from key countries to China, alongside Beijing municipal government officials.
