As the Spring Festival travel season begins, Beijing Railway Station, with improved commercial facilities, is once again introducing something new. A range of brand-new stores have recently opened within the station, all set to welcome customers.
At "Quanjude Peking Duck Platform Restaurant"(全聚德·站台), the inaugural store of Quanjude at Chinese railway stations, travelers can not only buy Peking duck gift boxes but also place orders on-site to relish this exquisite dish. Furthermore, various fast-food and milk tea shops offer passengers a diverse range of choices.
Step into the "Treasures in the Forbidden City"(上新了故宫) art shop, and you'll find yourself in a sea of imperial red reminiscent of the palace walls. From tea cups, bracelets, suitcases, to clothing, shoes, and more, each item is unique in design and embodies various historical elements of the Forbidden City.
On January 26, the first day of the Spring Festival travel season, the China-Europe Railway Express Shop of Bonded Imports and the TEAM CHINA Official Store officially opened at Beijing Railway Station. They attracted numerous travelers, allowing them to bring home unique souvenirs.
The China-Europe Railway Express Shop of Bonded Imports primarily sources products from over 20 Belt and Road partner countries and regions. It offers over ten different categories of more than a thousand products, including food and beverages, beauty and skincare products, daily essentials, nutritional supplements, groceries, travel and home products, as well as affordable luxury items. Travelers can pick the products from around the world without leaving the station. In this way, the general public can share the achievements of the China-Europe Railway Express.
Sports enthusiasts can visit the TEAM CHINA Official Store. Palace cats adorned in China’s national team attire are sure to catch your eye as soon as you walk in. Here you'll find a collection of 96 exclusive new items, including badges, keychains and other non-precious metal items, as well as precious metal products, home goods, stationery, crafts, ceramics, outdoor equipment and luggage.
In addition to these shopping and dining options, Beijing Railway Station has introduced some new changes: warm water taps in the restrooms, charging facilities in the drinking areas, a rest area on the northern mezzanine on the first floor, a waiting area designated for passengers arriving at the station at night, and a Spring Festival-themed photo spot in the main hall on the ground floor. With these meticulous services, Beijing Railway Station brings warmth to the travelers' journey.
