Recently, the "Capacity Building Seminar on Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan African Countries" made its way to Fengtai District, Beijing. The training seminar consisted of 24 senior diplomats, including ambassadors and envoys, from 23 sub-Saharan African countries to the United Nations. They embarked on tours and inspections in key functional areas such as the Lize Financial Business District and Zhongguancun Fengtai Park, and participated in exchanges and discussions with representatives from enterprises at the China-Africa Business Council, actively promoting the development of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation to a higher level, wider fields, and deeper dimensions.
Located in Zhongguancun Fengtai Park, the China-Africa Business Council stands as a national-level international social organization. It actively guides Chinese enterprises in conducting economic and trade investments in Africa, effectively promoting China-Africa economic and trade cooperation and Africa's economic growth.
Post-symposium, the diplomats conducted field research on the new landmark of southwestern Beijing, the Lize Financial Business District. They observed the construction of the business district from the 52nd-floor urban lounge at Lize SOHO and immersed themselves in the deep-rooted cultural legacy of the ancient Jin Dynasty's millennium-old Middle Capital heritage site.
H.E. Agnes Mary Chimbiri-Molande, the representative and ambassador of the Malawi Permanent Mission to the United Nations, said, "The Beijing development model we have witnessed today, especially in terms of coordinated urban-rural development and green economy, is something truly worth learning from".
"I believe that we need to learn in many areas, including creating a better investment environment and fostering a learning environment for young people. During this training program, we have gained valuable insights". said H.E. Mr. Samba Sane, the representative and ambassador of the Guinea-Bissau Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
