Newly-built Xidan Sports Park opened to the public recently, which is a good place for exercise and leisure. After its completion, 97.61% of the built-up area in Xicheng District now has access to parks and green spaces within a 500-meter radius.

The sports park is located in Xuanwumennei Street, and on the southwest side of the Xidan Intersection. Covering an area of approximately 2300 square meters, it’s close to the Xidan commercial area, Beijing Financial Street, and the Naoshikou cultural protection area.

The park integrates public entertainment facilities with ecological gardening, and introduces the smart technology. It builds a comprehensive application points system. Citizens can earn points by interacting with intelligent facilities including AI virtual cycling, AI voice garbage sorting robot, and AI sports field, and exchange the points for more services offered by unmanned vending machines and intelligent service stations.
