Overview: The Daxing Biomedicine Industrial Base of Zhongguancun Science Park is the core hub for the high-quality development of Beijing's pharmaceutical industry. Covering a planned area of 22.5 square kilometers, it aims to build an industrial innovation ecosystem integrating "pharmaceuticals & technology + finance & services", and develop into a high-standard "China Pharmaceutical Valley" with international influence.

The base is fostering a "3+5" industrial cluster: three pillar sectors covering vaccines, traditional Chinese medicine and high-end medical devices, and five cutting-edge fields including cell and gene therapy, nucleic acid drugs, cosmetic medicine, innovative veterinary drugs and synthetic biology.
