In Shijingshan District, there is a hub for the development and innovation of the humanoid robot industry, which is named "Shougang Winter Olympics Plaza Humanoid Robot Industrial Base". This base has gathered upstream and downstream enterprises in the humanoid robot industry chain, achieving preliminary industrial agglomeration.

Located within Shougang Park's Winter Olympics Plaza, with a planned area of nearly 37,000 square meters, this base serves as the main platform for Shijingshan District's humanoid robot industry. Dedicated to the entire industry chain of humanoid robots, it emphasizes key areas such as embodied intelligence, smart sensing, motion control and core components. The base is also aimed at attracting and cultivating industrial leaders, unicorns, hidden champions, specialized, high-end and innovation-driven enterprises with distinctive products or services, and China's national high-tech enterprises. Focusing on vital sections and key fields, it strives to strengthen, supplement and extend the industry chain to promote the growth of the humanoid robot industry.

The base actively fosters an innovation ecosystem for the humanoid robot industry. By pooling superior industrial resources, it has established an integrated innovation platform marked by the synergy of industry, academia, research and application. This platform aims to provide services for the entire industry chain, such as industrial funds, industrial incubation, shared technology platforms, exhibitions, application scenario matchmaking, investment roadshows, and supply-demand matchmaking events, to facilitate the formation and development of industrial clusters.

Geographically, the base connects to the 5th and 6th ring roads via Fushi Road and Lianshi Road. Subway Line 11 runs through Shougang Park, while the planned R1 Line will link the park with downtown Beijing. The local transportation network features three horizontal and three vertical roads, four rail transit lines and eight subway stations, creating a high-speed regional commuting network.
