The People's Bank of China (PBC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding  (MOU) with the Bank of the Lao P.D.R (BOL) on establishing Renminbi (RMB) clearing arrangements in Laos. The arrangements will help enterprises and financial institutions of the two countries conduct cross-border transactions using RMB and further facilitate bilateral trade and investment.
