In 2019, the output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the whole city showed "three drops and one liter ", and the planting, animal husbandry and fishery industry all decreased, and forestry continued to grow substantially.

I. Overall agricultural situation

In 2019, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industry in Beijing was 28.17 billion yuan, down 5.1% from the same period last year. Among them, the year-on-year decline in planting industry was 10.8 percent; the year-on-year decline in animal husbandry was 31.5 percent; the year-on-year decline in fishery output value was 14.1 percent; and the output value of forestry was 11.56 billion yuan, an increase of 21.6 percent over the same period last year, driven by a new round of million mu of afforestation projects, continuing a substantial growth trend. The added value of the primary industry fell 4.2% year-on-year, and the deduction of the price factor actually fell 2.5%.

Second, the yield of traditional farming and raising industry continues to decline

In 2019, the city's vegetable and edible fungus sowing area of 468,000 mu, down 13.4 percent from the same period last year; the output of 1.115 million tons, down 14.6 percent from the same period last year. The sown area of melon and fruit was 49,000 mu, down 9.7% from the same period last year; the output was 143,000 tons, down 5.1% from the same period last year. The orchard covers an area of 657,000 mu, down 5.6 percent from the same period last year; the fruit output is 489,000 tons, down 2.0 percent from the same period last year.

In 2019, the number of animal husbandry products in the city dropped sharply, and the output of livestock and poultry products also showed a downward trend. There were 284,000 live pigs, down 83.3 percent from the same period last year;96,000 tons of eggs, down 14.5 percent from the same period last year; and 264,000 tons of milk, down 14.9 percent from the same period last year.

Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Urban Agriculture

(1) Increased proportion of high-benefit varieties in facility agriculture

In 2019, the planting area of the city's facility agriculture was 406,000 mu, down 16.1 percent from the same period last year, and the output value was 4.71 billion yuan, down 7.9 percent from the same period last year. Among them, the average output value of high-efficiency beneficial varieties such as fruits and fruits, flowers and seedlings, and garden fruits increased significantly, accounting for 4.0,2.0 and 0.3 percentage points of the total output value of facility agriculture, respectively, compared with the same period last year.

(2) per capita consumption of tourism parks and folklore tourism increases

In 2019, there were 948 sightseeing parks in the city, down 16.0 percent from a year earlier;15.38 million visitors, down 17.5 percent from a year earlier; and a revenue of 2.32 billion yuan, down 12.7 percent from a year earlier. The income mainly comes from the income of picking, selling agricultural products and catering, accounting for 26.1%,22.7% and 16.9% respectively. Although some of the park's illegal facilities were demolished and the number of parks decreased, most of them focused on upgrading their quality and innovative development models, with an average revenue of 2.449 million yuan per park, an increase of 3.8% over the same period last year. Per capita consumption of tourists 1  50.9 yuan, an increase of 5.7% over the same period last year.

Folk tourism per capita consumption to achieve growth. In 2019, the city's folklore tourism received 19.201 million visitors, down 3.8 percent from the same period last year, with a revenue of 1.44 billion yuan, up 5.4 percent from the same period last year, with per capita consumption of 75.1 yuan, up 9.5 percent from the same period last year.
