Founded in London in 1845, Deloitte is a global professional services organization and one of the "Big Four" accounting firms, providing audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory and tax services. Deloitte China currently has 10 operational entities in Beijing, with more than 4,000 professionals based in the city.
"Deloitte China will continue to play its role as an 'Invest in Beijing' Global Partner and an investment promotion service station," Zhu said, adding that the firm will strengthen cooperation with the bureau through closer information-sharing, resource integration and jointly organized events.
Ma thanked Deloitte China for its contribution to Beijing's economic and social development, saying the bureau highly values the partnership and Deloitte's advisory expertise and extensive client network. He urged the two sides to build on previous collaboration and called for closer coordination on event organization, project matchmaking, sharing of research findings and overseas promotion.
Meng Fanyong, deputy director of the bureau, and representatives from relevant departments also attended the meeting.
