Beijing Robot Industrial Park officially opened in Changping District, Beijing, on July 6. As the northern pillar of Beijing's "one south, one north" robotics industry layout, the 300,000-square-meter industrial complex integrates research and development, manufacturing, testing and application, providing a comprehensive platform to support the development of Beijing's robotics industry and foster the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies.
Tailored exclusively for robotics enterprises, the park offers end-to-end facilities covering R&D, pilot production, intelligent manufacturing, product testing and real-world application. Its first phase, spanning 64,600 square meters with five specialized robotics-ready workshops, has already achieved an intended occupancy rate of over 60%. Leading robotics companies, including Linkerbot and Linkhou Robot, have settled in, bringing advanced manufacturing capacity and innovative technologies to the park.
Linkerbot has established an intelligent production line for consumer-grade dexterous robotic hands, where highly automated CNC equipment enables efficient precision manufacturing with minimal manual intervention, with annual production capacity of around 100,000 robotic hands expected. Meanwhile, Linkhou Robot is building a standardized smart manufacturing center capable of producing up to 15,000 embodied intelligent robots each year. In addition to manufacturing complete robots, the company also provides core components and contract manufacturing services, helping small and medium-sized robotics firms improve production efficiency.
Beyond advanced facilities, the park is designed to cultivate a highly collaborative industrial ecosystem, enabling zero-distance collaboration across the industrial chain. Linggan Chujie, a tactile interaction firm backed by Beihang University's Robotics Research Institute, has already begun cooperation talks with its neighbors in the park shortly after settlement, drawn by the cluster's synergy advantages. Robotics developers, component suppliers, manufacturers and solution providers can work in close proximity, enabling faster technology transfer and more efficient supply chain coordination.
The park is further strengthened by three national-level shared platforms covering robotics quality certification, intelligent systems evaluation, and advanced materials data services. These platforms provide comprehensive technical support for product development, performance verification and industrial upgrading, helping companies shorten innovation cycles and improve product competitiveness.
Supported by Changping's "1+5+" robotics industrial framework, the district has developed a complete ecosystem spanning embodied intelligence, core components and five major application sectors, including collaborative robots, warehouse and logistics, household services, specialized tasks, and medical robots. The opening of the park marks another milestone in Beijing's efforts to cultivate new quality productive forces and advance high-end intelligent manufacturing. The project is expected to further strengthen Beijing's development as an international center for scientific and technological innovation.
