On December 17, the Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment joined hands with the CP Center to launch the "Sino-Foreign Entrepreneurs Cloud Salon." Sun Yao, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, attended the launch ceremony and delivered a speech. Deputy Director Tang Yonghong and senior executives from over 40 foreign enterprises, including CP Group, Siemens, Qualcomm, Dell, and ABB, participated in the event.
Sun emphasized the importance of the salon as a platform for member enterprises to exchange ideas, share information, and promote mutual development. He proposed three suggestions:
1. Leveraging Resources: The association should capitalize on its global membership to address enterprise needs and provide feedback to the city’s investment center.
2. Sharing Industry Trends: Entrepreneurs should share global trends to guide government decision-making.
3. Improving Business Environment: Feedback on investment promotion practices from other cities can help Beijing optimize its environment.
Sun highlighted that 80% of Beijing's new foreign investment comes from reinvestment by existing enterprises. Supporting these firms remains a priority for the city, and the salon aims to strengthen collaboration and foster economic growth.
