On November 5 and 6, during the 4th CIIE, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center held the first investment promotion conference for multinational companies and technological innovation companies in Shanghai. It introduced the opportunities in Beijing under the new development pattern and had discussions and exchanges with the companies. Heads from more than 60 Fortune 500 companies and multinationals in the Yangtze River Delta region, including AmCham Shanghai, J.P.Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Marriott, as well as more than 70 technological innovation companies such as iFLYTEK and DeepBlue Technology, attended the conference.

Vice Mayor Yang Jinbai attended the conference for multinational companies online, and introduced the new opportunities in Beijing under the construction of "Two Zones", focusing on Beijing's unique development advantages and its acceleration to explore and build a new development pattern with "Two Zones" construction, the digital economy, supply-side structural reform, an international science and technology innovation center, and the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. In the promotion conference, the Leading Group Office for "Two Zones" Construction, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center all carried out the keynote promotion respectively. Heads of Beijing Stock Exchange, Xicheng district, Chaoyang district, Daxing district and Tongzhou district introduced Beijing's relevant industrial policies and investment opportunities to multinational companies and technological innovation companies through online and on-site participation, and actively interacted with them to answer their questions. Sun Yao, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, met with the relevant person in charge of Deutsche Bank before the conference, and reached a preliminary agreement on investing in Beijing. Next, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center will continue to connect with companies that are interested in investing in Beijing and carry out one-to-one services for them. In addition, it will also strengthen cooperation with districts to facilitate enterprise landing process and vigorously promote the settlement of key projects in Beijing.
