April 28, Beijing held a successful investment promotion conference for health and old-age-related industries. Xu Zongjun, deputy director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, introduced the latest of Beijing's development and business and investment promotion work from three perspectives of policy advantage, business environment, and investment promotion efforts. His speech centered around the "two zones" construction.

Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Changping District, and Daxing District respectively introduced Beijing's policies and measures for developing old-age service and old-age health industries, as well as the regional business environment and business opportunities in the health and old-age-related industries. Over 150 top managers from around 100 trans-national corporations, leading companies and business associations from the health and old-age-related industries attended the conference and talked to the departments mentioned above, among which over 10 companies talked about their prospective investment in Beijing.

This event was among Beijing's 11 key investment promotion activities in 2021 organized by the investment promotion team of the city's "two zones" leading team in joint efforts with the leading departments. It was also a major business and investment introduction activity newly created for 2021 that focuses on some core industries.

Beijing is pressing ahead with the construction of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening-up the Service Sector and China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Health and old-age-related industries are the key areas of the "two zones" business and investment introduction. Beijing opens its arms to welcome companies in the field of health and old-age service from home and abroad.
