To further promote the study of the history of the People’s Republic of China and the continuous innovation and development of the union, the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign-funded Enterprises organized a visit to Fragrant Hills Revolutionary Memorial Museum on April 16. About 170 people, including the presidents, members, full-time officials and model workers from the unions of enterprises such as Siemens, Schneider Electric and Li-Ning, attended the activity.

At the museum, participants visited an exhibition called Laying the Foundation of the People's Republic of China - The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China at Fragrant Hills in Beijing and toured five exhibition parts themed "The Start of CPC's Governance in Beijing", "CPC's Station at Fragrant Hills", "The Continuous Efforts Made to Liberate China", "The Preparation for the Founding of New China" and "Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind with Endless Efforts". By doing so, they reviewed the glorious historical events, including the successful Liberation War led by the CPC, the great victory of New Democratic Revolution and the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and appreciated the outstanding achievements made by the revolutionaries. More than 800 pictures and thousands of objects, documents and archives presented the history that the CPC led all Chinese people to fulfill national independence and people's liberation and opened a new era for the People’s Republic of China during their stays at Fragrant Hills, arousing strong resonance among the visitors. All of them agreed that the contribution of the CPC Central Committee in Fragrant Hills has special significance in the history of the CPC and the People’s Republic of China. They reviewed the history to inherit the spirit and the modest and hard-working characteristics from the revolutionaries of the old generation, thus remaining true to their original aspiration, keeping their mission firmly in mind and working tirelessly to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

All the participants stated that they should take this necessary and meaningful visit as an opportunity to inherit the characteristics of the revolutionaries, implement the diligent style of work, learn from the revolutionary history, devoting themselves to the union work in the new era in a clear-headed and determined mindset.
