On the morning of April 13, Xu Zongjun, Deputy Director of the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, presided over the Special Working Conference for Investment Promotion Intermediaries in China. Xu first introduced the overall analysis of Beijing's investment promotion work in the relevant meetings of the municipal government. He put forward further requirements for the investment promotion work in the context of the construction of the Beijing Comprehensive Demonstration Zone for Further Opening up the National Service Sector and China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Arrangements were also made in the follow-up project matchmaking and negotiation of all divisions of the Center. First, the divisions are required to exploit resources and advantages of professional intermediary agencies to attract high-end projects in line with the construction standards of the "two zones". Second, it is necessary to further guide, coordinate with, and publicize policies to enterprises that lead and complement the industrial chain listed by intermediaries. Third, they should strengthen the awareness of active planning and service, and strive to implement a batch of projects within this year. Fourth, the municipality and zones should be coordinated in the process of project negotiation to fuel the implementation of projects. Fifth, efforts should be made in the research of the key industries introduced by Beijing.

Subsequently, the heads of all divisions communicated with the representatives of intermediary agencies on the process of the project negotiation in the next stage.
