During the New Year and Spring Festival holidays in 2021, Beijing Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign-funded Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the "Federation") organized a "heart-warming" activity, giving a special relief fund of RMB 198,000 to 99 employees with financial difficulties.

As a part of the “heart-warming” activity, relief for employees with financial difficulties is also an important part of the rights protection and support work of the Federation. The key relief subject is the employees of foreign-funded enterprises who have difficulties in family life because they or their immediate family members are suffering from major diseases, COVID-19 pandemic, sudden accidents, brave acts for just causes, deaths in the line of duty, etc. After a careful survey and counting, the trade unions of the associated enterprise declared the relief list in the early stage of the activity. The Federation strictly examined the list, and assisted 99 eligible employees in a timely and precise manner, relieving their financial burden and enhancing their confidence to get through the difficulties.

In 2021, the Federation will carry on the relief for employees with financial difficulties, making it a regular activity. In addition, it will strengthen the service function of trade unions, and truly warm the hearts of employees.
