On November 23, 2020, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and Shougang Group jointly held the "The Shijingshan District Tour of Overseas Business Associations in Beijing and Interested Enterprises". The activity aims to fully implement the Work Plan for Accelerating the Industrial Development of the New Shougang High-end Industry Comprehensive Service Park, assist overseas business associations in Beijing and interested enterprises in learning about the investment environment and key projects of Shijingshan District, further publicize the New Shougang High-end Industry Comprehensive Service Park (hereinafter referred to as "Shougang Park"), and promote the transformation and upgrade of the Shougang area.

More than 70 representatives participated in the activity. They were representatives of overseas institutions including the Commercial Office of the Embassy and Consulates of Belgium in China and London & Partners, Chinese and overseas business associations in Beijing such as the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China, China-Britain Business Council, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China, and Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, and well-known enterprises like Deloitte China, PwC, Beijing MTR Corporation Limited, Mercedes-Benz Financing, and China Mining United Investment Group Co., Ltd.

During the activity, participants first visited Shougang's Taolou Building, Three Blast Furnaces, and Qunming Lake long corridor to appreciate the brand-new appearance of the Shougang Park, and then attended a symposium to exchange. Xu Zongjun, Deputy Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, introduced the economic development and investment promotion work of Beijing. Jiang Yuying, Deputy District Mayor of Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, delivered a welcome speech. Beijing Shougang Construction Investment Co., Ltd. and Beijing Banking & Insurance Business Park Investment Holding Co., Ltd. respectively promoted the Shougang Park Project and the Beijing Banking & Insurance Business Park Project. On the spot, personnel from the Shijingshan District Investment Promotion Center answered questions raised by enterprises about financial support, talent reward, and other policies.

This activity has achieved the matchmaking with international business associations and institutions, guided and supported domestic and foreign large enterprises to establish new institutions, explore new fields, and develop new businesses in the Shougang Park. Through building a multilateral network for project promotion and investment attraction, the activity achieved complete success and yield fruitful results.
