On October 31, 2020, Beijing Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign-funded Enterprises organized a training session on studying the Long March spirit. This training was represented by more than 190 employees from over 40 foreign-funded enterprises, such as Siemens China, ABB China, Pizza Hut, Bosch Rexroth, and Schneider Electric.

Tian Jingsheng, an academic member of the Chinese Society of Education and researcher of Beijing Normal University, made a presentation entitled "Learning and Carrying Forward the Long March Spirit" based on historical documents and materials he had collected from field visits and investigations while working in Guizhou Province. Firstly, Mr. Tian, through quoting Party leaders from Mao Zedong to Xi Jinping on the Long March, mainly explained what the spirit of the Long March is and pointed out its concept and learning significance. Later, he introduced such eight topics of the Long March as its reasons, duration, involved troops and leaders, places involved, as well as battles, joining forces and important meetings during the Long March and its historical significance, which draw a vivid picture in the mind of those trainees. The last part was divided into four topics: Exploration of revolutionary laws—the Communist Party of China and Mao Zedong are choices of Chinese history; triggering a long march of the public—always keep in touch with the people; the spirit of struggle and sacrifice—tempering and building an iron will, and adherence to ideals and beliefs—firmly keeping in mind the original intention of Communists. Mr. Tian introduced a group of heroic figures, touching stories, historical facts, and deeply analyzed them, so that the spirit of the Long March was promoted to educate and enlighten trainees to take the Long March in the new era. The splendid lecture was interrupted a dozen times by enthusiastic applause.

According to these participants, the training of the spirit of the Long March gave them a more deeply understanding of the hard-won victory of the Chinese revolution, and let them cherish the existing better life. They said that they would concentrate their efforts and work hard to contribute their talents and youth to the Long March of the Chinese nation in the new era.
