On September 23, 2020, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center and Fengtai District People's Government of Beijing Municipality jointly held the activity for well-known foreign enterprises in Beijing to invest in Fengtai District so as to grasp the opportunity of Beijing's wider opening up and strong attraction for foreign investment, help these well-known foreign enterprises to better understand Fengtai District, and promote the settlement of more foreign enterprises in Fengtai District. Zhou Xu, Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, and Chu Junwei, Acting Head of Fengtai District, attended the activity and delivered speeches. Zhou Xinchun, Executive Deputy Head of Fengtai District, and Su Yang, Deputy Head of Fengtai District, attended the activity. Zhang Tong, Second-level Inspector of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, presided over the activity. This activity attracted nearly 100 participants including senior representatives of more than 40 Fortune Global 500 enterprises and multinational corporations such as CP Group, Daimler, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Veolia, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. East Asia Bloc and the Bank of East Asia as well as leaders from the Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment.

In the activity, Director Zhou Xu introduced the overall economic and social development of Beijing in terms of the high-quality establishment of pilot free trade zones, the improvement of the business environment, and the main functions of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center. Acting Head Chu Junwei highlighted the overall situation, development opportunities, and key industries of Fengtai District. Representatives of the Lize Financial Business District of Beijing (FBD) and key enterprises settling in Fengtai District introduced the latest development plan of FBD and their personal experience of high-quality services provided by the government.

During the activity, the enterprises visited FBD and watched the policy promotion video of Fengtai for high-end technological industries. Entrepreneurs said that they have understood the rapid development of Fengtai and the new pattern of innovation and development of FBD in this activity, and they are more likely to invest in Fengtai.
