In the afternoon of August 21, the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center held a briefing on the participation of officials in community pandemic prevention and control. According to the requirements of pandemic prevention and control, the briefing was held in a way that integrates on-site presentation and online attendance. Zhou Xu, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, attended the briefing and delivered a speech. All members of the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center and its affiliated institutions attended the briefing in person or online.

On June 11, an outbreak of COVID-19 happened in Xinfadi Market. According to the requirements of the Work Committee for Organizations Directly under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center transferred 10 Party members and officials to Wanliuxi Community and Guokangyanxi Working Group in Xincun Sub-district, Fengtai District to support pandemic prevention and control. During the 38 days from June 24 to July 31, the 10 people shouldered great responsibility and went to the front line, fully participated in the pandemic prevention and control in the community. With a high sense of mission and service, they overcame various difficulties, actively served the people, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and commitment of Party members and showing the good image and demeanor of officials from organizations directly under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee. At the briefing, on behalf of other officials, Shi Zhengbin and Li Di reported on the prevention and control of the pandemic with vivid examples.

Zhou Xu, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, pointed out that the officials who participated in community pandemic prevention and control made arduous efforts and achieved significant results, showing the Party spirit, excellent quality, and outstanding ability, and that all members should learn from them, follow their example, dare to sacrifice, firmly set up a people-centered philosophy, embody loyalty in responsibility, remain true to our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, and observe the fundamental purpose of serving the people.
