To further improve the overall quality of the trade union officials in foreign-invested enterprises, strengthen the fund examination and supervision of grass-root trade unions, and improve the ability of trade union officials to resolve and handle issues related to rights protection, Beijing Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign-funded Enterprises held the second online business training session on August 29 and 30, 2020, in line with the requirements of pandemic prevention and control. A total of 353 people attended the training, including trade union presidents, members, and full-time directors as well as fund examination committee directors and members from Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Pizza Hut, Li-Ning, and other enterprises.

This training was delivered online by two researchers from the Institute of Theory and Worker Education of Beijing Federation of Trade Unions Cadre College. Researcher Zhang Xiaomei's lecture, titled "Audit Practice In Grass-root Trade Unions", explained the financial regulations and provisions on funds usage in trade unions of enterprises and introduced how to use funds in a scientific, standardized, and rigorous manner. Researcher Fan Shaohua's lecture, titled "Collective Negotiation and Collective Contract", talked about the necessity and procedure of collective negotiation and signing a collective contract as well as their significance in the new era, key points and difficulties, and the ideas and specific steps that should be taken. Participants said that their ideological awareness got improved through the training, and they identified the focus of work and learned about work standards and methods, which will surely promote the formal financial work of trade unions of enterprises and improve the quality of collective contracts to be signed.
