On the afternoon of July 1^st, Zhou Xu, the Party Secretary and Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, gave a speech to all the branch secretaries of the offices and directly affiliated institutions of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, entitled as “Adhere to the people as the center and do a good job of capital investment promotion under the prevention and control of epidemics”. In light of the prevention and control of the epidemic and the reality of capital investment promotion in the new era, Zhou systematically expounded on the significance and practical requirements of “Adhere to the people as the center and do a good job of capital investment promotion under the prevention and control of epidemics” at four aspects, including fully understanding and implementing the people-centered development philosophy, pandemic test being a people-centered practice, contributing to the investment promotion of epidemic prevention, and putting the vision of people-centered development into the investment promotion in the capital, which has an important guiding role for all the work of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center in the next step given its rich content, thorough reasoning, and powerful theory, pertinence and guidance.
