On April 1, Comrade Zhou Xu, Secretary of the Party group and director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Service Center, chaired over a special meeting on the project work, and studied and deployed how to do well in the current project promotion work. The meeting formed a consensus in five areas: First, it should be clear that project promotion and enterprise service work is the foundation of the city's investment and promotion center, and we must adhere to the work policy of the "two wheel drive" of project promotion and enterprise service. Second, we should fully recognize the changes in the work functions of the Municipal Investment Promotion Center and the shift in the focus of work, and resolutely do a good job in project promotion and enterprise service work in accordance with the framework and key work promoted by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, so as to keep up with the work standards of the Municipal Government. Third, it is necessary to realize the transformation of project promotion work towards structure and effectiveness, and to promote key projects both at the municipal and district level. Fourth, we should continue to optimize the project promotion work, focusing on the promotion of the city leaders to visit the enterprise projects and our Center to visit the the projects identified by key enterprises, municipal-level coordinated projects of the "high-grade, precision and advanced" industries and expansion and opening up the service sector, district-level priority projects linked through district-level business service stewards, key projects provided from high-end intermediaries, and so on. Fifth, it is necessary to strengthen the project work assessment and optimize the project work indicators. We should highlight the assessment of the completion of key projects at the municipal level, the work of individual projects assigned by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, and the work of investment promotion agencies.

The meeting put forward clear requirements for the current project promotions: first, highlight foreign investment projects; second, further strengthen the core functions of the various business units, improve the professionalism and integration of work to build professional units; third, further strengthen the Center's leadership team members to promote the work of key projects; fourth, strengthen work supervision and inspection. Meanwhile, it is emphasized that all levels should improve their positions, do a good job of overall planning, run coordination and cooperation throughout the whole process, further improve the working style and ensure the effective implementation of all the work.
