On the morning of January 17, on the occasion of the Spring Festival, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center held a forum for retired cadres to welcome the spring of 2020. Zhou Xu, secretary and director of the Party group of the Center, Yu Yan, deputy director and first-class inspector of the Party group of the Center, gathered together with the retired old comrades to welcome the New Year and talk about the bright future of unit construction and investment promotion.

Comrade Zhou Xu informed retired cadres of the work of the Municipal Investment Promotion Service Center in 2019, the results achieved and the work plan for 2020. On behalf of the Party group of the Center, he thanked the retired comrades for their concern and support for the construction of the unit in the past year, and expressed blessings for the Spring Festival to everyone. He pointed out that in 2019, facing the complex situation, unprecedented heavy tasks and unprecedented challenges, the Municipal Investment Promotion Center successfully completed its annual work objectives with concerted efforts of all cadres. In carrying out the work of promoting investment, by reducing "quantity" and increasing "quality", there has been a change of quality in the project promotions, and by seizing the function of "service manager", opening the "12345 citizen hotline", and seizing the opportunity of reform, the common development and progress of cadres and undertakings has been realized. 

The old comrades at the meeting fully affirmed the achievements made by the Municipal Investment Promotion Service Center in 2019 and actively offered suggestions for the development of investment promotion. Everyone said that in 2019, the Municipal Investment Promotion Service Center has made great progress. Many of its work are both an opportunity and a challenge. All of its work has been completed successfully and the results were hard to achieve. At the same time, in 2020, we will face greater challenges, thus we need to look at the problems from the developmental and international point of view, enhance our own ability, to be based on services, unite as one to work together to contribute to the development of investment and promotion, and strive for another good performance.
