On January 2, 2020, the 16th expanded meeting of the 4th Committee of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign-funded Enterprises was held in the first conference room of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Jianjun, executive vice chairman. More than 50 members of the Committee of the Federation, members of the Economic and Judicial Committee and the Women's Working Committee, as well as the chairman, members and full-time officers of the grassroots trade unions attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the application list and related materials of the Warm Fund of the Federation, and decided to subsidize 99 needy employees at the standard of 2000 yuan per person. The meeting put forward requirements that the trade unions of all enterprises should arrange visits to the needy workers as early as possible, to ensure the orderly progress of the condolence activities during the "two festivals", so that the needy workers could truly feel the warmth and care of the trade union. The meeting also considered four issues related to the selections, and selected 15 advanced collectives, 39 excellent friends of employees, 95 excellent union workers (including 41 excellent union presidents), and 402 union activists. Zhang Jianjun, executive vice chairman, informed all members and representatives attending the meeting of the recent main work of the Federation, and asked the trade unions of all enterprises to attach great importance to the holiday safety prevention work of the enterprises, master the production and living conditions of the enterprises and employees in time, and ensure that the enterprises and employees enjoy a stable and peaceful Spring Festival.
