On January 7, 2020, director Zhou Xu met with Zhang Geping, office director of China Investment Corporation (CIC), and his delegation, and held a discussion and exchange on better serving the development of CIC in Beijing and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.

Director Zhang Geping thanked the City Investment Promotion Center for actively performing the duties of a housekeeper, efficiently serving the enterprises and solving the difficult problems for CIC. He expressed that he would further integrate resources in all aspects of the CIC system, make contributions to the economic development of Beijing, and hope that the City Investment Promotion Center would assist in solving new demands.

Director Zhou Xu responded to the demands put forward by CIC one by one. He stressed that the City Investment Promotion Center will, in accordance with the instructions of the city leaders, conscientiously implement the service package and continues to do a good job in enterprise services. It is hoped that CIC will play a leading role in the industry, expand its business in Beijing, especially support the construction and development of Sino-Japan Industrial Park and Sino-Germany Industrial Park, and actively cooperate with Beijing's investment promotion activities in key countries by utilizing overseas high-end resources.
