In the afternoon of November 21, 2019, the 13th (expanded) meeting of the 4th committee of Beijing Federation of foreign trade unions was held in the first conference room of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Jianjun, executive vice chairman.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC. The meeting stressed that all the members of the Federation of trade unions of foreign enterprises should unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, enhance their "Four consciousnesses", strengthen their "Four self-confidences" and achieve "Two maintenances". The Federation of trade unions of foreign enterprises should do well in propaganda of the spirit of the plenary session, ensure that the spirit of the Plenary Session is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and effectively integrate ideas and actions into the spirit of the plenary session. All members should forge ahead, make innovations and strive to create a new situation in the work of the Beijing Federation of trade unions of foreign enterprises.

The meeting also analysed the budget adjustment of the Federation in 2019, reported the audit situation of the trade union of foreign enterprises, and considered the candidate units and candidates recommended by the Federation for the advanced collective and individual in the greening and beautifying of the capital in 2019.
