In order to fully understand the pain points and difficulties in the development of market entities, and cooperate with the Beijing Municipal Government in the formulation of the "Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Optimizing the Business Environment", commissioned by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center held a discussion meeting with foreign-invested enterprises in Beijing and foreign business associations in Beijing on November 13 and 14. Representatives from 35 companies including Carlyle, Qualcomm, Mitsui & Co., ABB, Citibank, Mizuho Bank, Ericsson, along with representatives of business associations in Beijing and overseas including the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, HKCCC, China-Australia Chamber of Commerce all delivered speeches at the meeting one by one. In addition, some companies and business associations who were unable to attend the meeting submitted written opinions and suggestions on improving the business environment in Beijing.

The interaction and exchange in the venue were active and achieved good results. The participants said that the theme of the symposium was clear and the government was more and more willing to listen to the voices of all parties before formulating new policies, services and measures, and as a result, reflected the efforts made by Beijing in deepening reform, benchmarking and innovation, and also reflected the determination to promote the continuous improvement of the business environment in the Capital, and enhancing the  participants' confidence to continue their investment and business development in Beijing.
