On the afternoon of December 17, Zhou Xu, director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Center, attended the general meeting of Beijing Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises and delivered a speech.

In his speech, director Zhou Xu reviewed and summarized the work of the Association in the past 30 years, fully affirmed the achievements of the Association since its establishment in 1989, carefully analyzed the new organizational framework and management system of the Association. He also stressed that separation work is not only the central requirement and policy requirement, but also the opportunity for the development of the Association, and hoped that the Association would fully seize this opportunity to promote better development of the Association. He put forward five work requirements for the Association: first is to stress politics; second is to stress learning; third is to stress unity; fourth is to stress dedication; fifth is to stress inheritance.

Xu Wei, secretary of the Party committee of the Municipal Social Organization Management Center, attended the general meeting and delivered a speech.

Xu Zongjun, deputy director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Center, attended the general meeting.

The general meeting elected six executive vice presidents of the Association, appointed one secretary-general and six deputy secretary-general of the Association, approved the revised regulations of the Association, the election method of executive vice president of the Association, the work report, financial report, work report of the board of supervisors in 2019, and also newly increased and adjusted the list of vice presidents and directors.
