On August 8, 2019, the Expert Seminar on Promoting the Development of Key Industries and Enterprises by Investment Promotion under Sino-US Trade Friction was successfully held in Municipal Investment Promotion Center.  

Experts and scholars from Renmin University of China, Chongyang Research Institute, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Yitang Changhou Fund Management Co., Ltd, Visteon Corp. and other institutions attended the seminar. They commented the impact of Sino-US trade frictions on Beijing's industrial development, analyzed the opportunities and challenges brought by Sino-US trade frictions for capital investment promotion, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the most affected key industries including 5G, AI, 3D printing, robotics, super chips, automatic driving and so on.  

Director Zhou Xu gave an important talk. He introduced the work of Municipal Investment Promotion Center from three aspects of establishment, analysis and solving projects, and clarified the background, purpose and effect requirements of the research. While affirming the periodic achievements of the projects, it is required to continue to strengthen the tracking of key areas, conduct precise analysis of upstream and downstream industrial chains in different industries, fully tap and transform the achievements of the projects, and put forward practical and implementable suggestions.
