On April 25, at the signing corner of the 2nd "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum – Local Cooperation Sub-Forum, Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau and other four units completed the signing of contracts with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and other units.  

At the signing ceremony, the World Tourism Cities Federation, which is the first international tourism organization to locate its headquarters in China and settled in Beijing, signed a contract with West Africa Tourism Organization. Both sides will promote the cooperation of win-win mechanism of the "Belt and Road" tourism destinations and a build Sino-African friendly non-governmental cooperation platform. The signing ceremony of the Beijing Investment Promotion Council and the Hongkong Trade Development Council will give full play to the special status and functions of both sides in the development of the country, and actively promote the participation of the two enterprises in the "Belt and Road" construction, and strive to promote the quality cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong. TusHoldings(Beijing) signed a contract with Russia-China Investment Fund, the two parties will jointly establish venture capital funds for high-tech fields; BAIC Group and Chia Tai Group will sign a joint venture manufacturing company as the regional operation center of Foton Motor in ASEAN.  

As far as we know, the local cooperation sub-forum event is one of the events of the 12 sub-forums of the International Cooperation Summit. Its theme is "Deepening Local Cooperation and Sharing Development Achievements", which is jointly sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. This is the first time for the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit to hold a local cooperation sub-forum. It aims to build a platform, innovate mechanism and expand channels for the "Belt and Road" local cooperations, and strive to build Beijing's characteristics and contribute to the road of peace, prosperity, openness, innovation and civilization.
