On April 25, director Zhou Xu met with Yanyong Zhengsi, director of the Japan-China Economic Association Beijing office.  

Director Zhou Xu introduced to Yanyong Zhengsi of the Beijing New Urban Master Plan and Beijing's open innovation development, as well as Beijing's measures to optimize the business environment, focusing on promoting the opening up of the financial industry and the relaxation of market access for the financial industry. It is hoped that the Japanese-Chinese Economic Association will pass on the signals of Beijing's reform and development to more Japanese companies and financial institutions, pointing out that the two sides should continue to strengthen cooperation and jointly promote high-quality projects of Japan to invest in Beijing. Finally, director Zhou Xu said that the bureau will fully support the "Beijing·Japan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Group" held by the Japan-China Economic Association in Beijing in June.  

Mr. Yanyong Zhengsi expressed his gratitude to our bureau for the efforts to improve the business environment in Beijing and expressed the confidence in the development of Beijing. He said that he will pay close attention to the new business opportunities in Beijing and meanwhile pass on the information of Beijing’s new investment environment to Japanese companies.
