From March 22 to 23, 2019, in order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, learn from the spirit of the Nineteenth Congress of the Party and the National "Two Sessions" and further promote the extension of strict governance of the Party to the grass-roots level and the standardization of Party organizations at the grass-roots level, the Party Committee of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau organized a training meeting for foreign-invested (non-public) enterprises to learn the spirit of the "two sessions" and for the review and appraisal of Party secretaries at grass-roots level. More than 110 Party secretaries, Party members and Party construction instructors at the grass-roots level under the Party Committee of the Bureau participated in the meeting.  

The training seminar interpreted the report on the work of the government in 2019. Within the scope of the Secretary of the grass-roots Party organizations affiliated to the Party Committee of the CPC Bureau, it gave a summary of the report on the use of Party fees and expenditures of the Central Committee, the Organizational Department of the Municipal Committee, the Labour Committee of the Municipal Organs directly under the CPC Bureau and the Party Committee of the Bureau. The training seminar also organized and watched the video of the Regulations on the Work of Communist Party Branches (Trial Implementation).  

Five branch secretaries were selected by the Party Committee of the Bureau to conduct on-site presentations for delegates. Combining with the performance of the Party construction work in 2018, the presentations focused on how thoroughly foreign-funded (non-public) enterprises should implement the Party construction work and how to strictly administer the Party in an all-round way and play the role of the fighting fortress of the Party organizations. The participating party members and the presentations secretaries exchanged questions and answered questions on-site. The test results are all qualified. Comrade Zhang Xuelin, deputy director of the Party Committee Office of the Bureau, commented on the Party organizations participating in the report one by one, and put forward work guidance and suggestions.  

Comrade He Wei, director of the Office of the Party Committee of the Bureau, was made to present a summary of the training meeting by the Party Committee of the Bureau. He pointed out that Party organizations in foreign-funded (non-public) enterprises affiliated to the Party Committee of the Bureau should improve their political standing, Party organization secretaries should fully understand the significance of job review and assessment, grassroots Party organizations and Party members should understand the current situation, thoroughly implement the requirements of strict Party control in an all-round way, and ensure that no violations of laws and discipline would occur. Party committees of the Bureau will also continue to explore the working mode of Party building in foreign-funded (non-public) enterprises, do a good job in the construction of two contingents of Party cadres and Party building instructors in foreign-funded (non-public) enterprises, and constantly promote new achievements in Party building in foreign-funded (non-public) enterprises, so as to welcome the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic with outstanding achievements.
