On February 28, March 1 and March 5, 2019, the trade unions of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau and the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign Enterprises organized three handicraft training sessions to celebrate the International Working Women's Day on March 8. More than 170 female cadres and staff members of the Bureau and representatives of female workers of foreign enterprises participated in the training sessions.  

During the activity, the handicraft instructor patiently taught everyone the origin, characteristics and essentials of handmade beads, and gave guidance in person. Everyone actively participated the session with patience under the careful explanation by the teacher. The enthusiasm was very high. According to the pre-prepared beads and bead string operation steps, the beads were carefully made step by step. After more than an hour, beautiful beaded necklaces were complished.  

The training activities were praised by the majority of women workers, and people expressed that the handicraft works made by themselves are more meaningful and are the best gift for Women's Day, bringing them a good mood for the whole day. On the occasion of Women's Day on March 8th, through this sort of activities, cadres and workers had the chance to exchange and learn from each other, cultivated people's awareness of loving life and paying attention to health, created a happy, peaceful and striving Festival atmosphere, and hoped more activities could be organized in the future to bring rich and colorful life to the workers.
