On December 21st, Zhou Xu, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, and deputy director Yu Yan led the team to visit the Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Together with the party secretary and director of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission Xu Qiang, party member and deputy director Yang Renquan they carried out in-depth communications and exchanges on promoting the development of high-grade, precision and advanced industries of our city and the joint introduction of high-tech projects in line with the strategic positioning of the capital city.  

Director Zhou Xu introduced the overall thinking of the next step of the bureau to strengthen the efforts to form a joint effort with the relevant commission office to realize the investment promotion work. It is hoped that the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the bureau will jointly check and screen the introduction of high-tech projects in order to assist our bureau to establish a global high-tech enterprise library for accurately and effectively carrying out high-tech project investment promotion work. Director Xu Qiang expressed his gratitude to the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau for paying the visit, and highly appreciated the overall idea put forward by the bureau to form joint efforts, resource docking, information sharing, and complementary advantages to achieve the overall idea of attracting investment of the city as "a board of chess". ​​He pointed out that in the next step , they will carry out in-depth cooperation with the Bureau in key areas such as medical health, advanced manufacturing, and advanced energy to attract a group of top talents and high-quality projects for key areas such as Future Science City and Huairou Science City and work together to build Beijing into the world's most influential science and technology innovation center.  

The staffs in charge of the office of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau and the Industrial Division, the office of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the High-tech office, and the International office participated in the exchange meeting.
