On November 28th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government held the “China Investment Cooperation Week” in Beijing. Director Zhou Xu was invited to attend the meeting and made a theme promotion of Beijing's investment policies and the business environment.  

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of sister cities between Seoul and Beijing. Over the past 25 years, the two sides have continued to promote friendly cooperations and have achieved success. Director Zhou Xu introduced the advantages and characteristics of Beijing's development from five aspects, and elaborated on the development direction and key industrial fields of Beijing in the future, as well as the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the construction of urban sub-centers, the 2019 World Horticultural Exposition, and the World Leisure Congress 2020 and the 2022 Winter Olympic Games will bring many new business opportunities to Beijing. It is hoped that China and South Korea’s high-tech enterprises will exchange and cooperate with each other to achieve win-win cooperation with Beijing.  

20 outstanding Korean companies with independent high-tech, such as the Internet of Things, biotechnology, and the industries related to the fourth industrial revolution, participated in one-on-one investment meetings with nearly 100 Chinese investors. The staffs of the relevant offices of our bureau and the participating enterprises have made in-depth exchanges.
