On the afternoon of October 26, Deputy director Xu Zongjun met with Alexander Hoeckl, member of the Board of Directors of the German-Chinese Economic Association (DCW), and Qi Chengang, chief representative of the German-Chinese Economic Association (DCW) in Beijing. Mr. Alexander Hoeckl gave a detailed introduction on the key industries of Cologne and Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany and the industrial distribution of enterprises that has the intention to invest in Beijing. Deputy director Xu Zongjun introduced Beijing's economic advantages, the expansion of the service industry and the business environment. Both sides made in-depth exchanges focusing on industrial docking, project promotion and campaigning organisations. Deputy Director Xu Zongjun said that he hopes to establish close economic and trade ties through the role of both platforms and broadly advertise Beijing to serve German companies that are interested in investing in Beijing. Relevant staffs from the Regional Promotion Office accompanied the meeting.
