On the morning of October 23, Deputy director Xu Zongjun met with assistant president of Dr.Oetker Group, president of Digital Information Technology Dr. Joachim Harms, and Qi Chengang, chief representative of the German-Chinese Economic Association (DCW) in Beijing. Deputy director Xu Zongjun listened to the main functions and business introduction of DCW which was introduced by Representative Chen Chenggang of DCW's in Beijing, and the introduction of the development of Dr.Oetker Group, the business layout and the establishment of the regional headquarter in China which was made by Dr. Joachim Harms, assistant president of Dr.Oetker Group and president of Digital Information Technology. Deputy director Xu Zongjun introduced Beijing's economic advantages, preferential policies and the work function of the Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, and conducted in-depth exchanges with Dr. Joachim Harms on Dr.Oetker Group’s concerns of the business environment, market potential and development model in Beijing. Director Xu Zongjun said that German family firms that have a-hundred-year history such as Dr.Oetker Group are very welcomed to invest and develop in Beijing. Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau is willing to set up a communication platform to provide services for its development in Beijing. Relevant staffs of the Regional Promotion Office accompanied the meeting.
