On October 19 and 20, 2018, the federation of trade union of Beijing foreign-invested Enterprises held a Foreign Enterprise Trade Union Financial Management Training Course. More than 150 leaders of the foreign trade union and financial staffs of 60 foreign-invested enterprises including Siemens(China), Schneider Electric, ABB (China) and Oracle participated in the training course.  

The training course invited Prof. Fan Yuhua, an associate researcher of the Beijing Trade Union Cadre College, and teacher Zhang Chaoxia and Liang Xipin of the Newgrand Software Co., Ltd. to give lessons at the course. The three teachers gave a brief explanation of the management and standard use of trade union funds, the fine management of the trade union’s finance, the computerized operation of the accounting softwares, the financial budget adjustment of the trade union, and the reporting of budget and final accounts.  

Participants of the training course generally reported that the training theme was clear, rich in content, targeted, very timely and necessary. The financial management is directly related to the construction of the trade union, which is related to the influence and creativity of the union. Through the training course, the financial management work level has been further improved, and the procedural, standardized, budgetary and refined financial management has been gradually realized, thus pushing the overall work level of the trade union to a higher level.
