On August 24th, the 21st Beijing-Taiwan Science and Technology Forum Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Special Forum and Project Exchange Fair was successfully held in Beijing. Deputy director An Jing and deputy inspector Zhang Tong of our bureau, deputy director Yu Weizhong of the Taiwan Affairs Department Office of Tianjin, deputy director Xi Xianjun of the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce attended the meeting, representatives from more than 40 enterprises and business associations from Beijing and Taiwan were invited to attend the event.  

At the meeting, deputy inspector Zhang Tong introduced the basic situation, economic characteristics and overall plannings of Beijing to the participants, as well as the measures to expand and open the service industry, optimize the business environment and the prospect of cooperation between Beijing and Taiwan. The responsible staffs of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Chaoyang District and Tongzhou District introduced the investment environment and key development areas of Chaoyang and Tongzhou respectively. The heads of the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce and the Tianjin Binhai New Area Investment Promotion Bureau introduced the investment environment and key development areas of Hebei and Tianjin Binhai New Area respectively. The heads of Baojian (China) Co., Ltd. and the Cross-Strait Enterprise Exchange Association of China spoke on behalf of the enterprises in Beijing and Taiwan respectively.  

After the fair, Taiwanese companies such as Xifuhui Zhihui Technology and Yida Medical Equipment conducted face-to-face project matching fair with Tongzhou District Investment Promotion Bureau, Mentougou District Investment Promotion Bureau, Pinggu District Investment Promotion Bureau and Beijing Shougang Construction Investment Co., Ltd.
