On the morning of August 22, Director Zhou Xu met with Jon Edwards, chief representative of London Stock Exchange in China, and listened to the development of the London Stock Exchange and the related business of “Shanghai-London stock connect”. Director Zhou Xu introduced the relevant advantages of the expansion and opening up of Beijing's financial industry, and publicized the business environment in Beijing and the duties of the Bureau to representative Jon Edwards. Director Zhou Xu said that both sides should establish strategic cooperative relationships, close communication and cooperation, share resources, complement each other's advantages, and jointly promote two-way investment and economic and trade exchanges between Beijing and London. At the same time, the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau will work with the Municipal Financial Bureau to provide services for the investment development of the London Stock Exchange in Beijing.
