In order to effectively grasp the learning-type organization construction and the construction of cadre team building in the bureau, and to further promote the work of the Communist Youth League of the bureau, unite and promote the growth and progress of young cadres, the party committee of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau organized a“Reading, Recommending, and Commenting Books” activity for all youth cadres of the bureau on the afternoon of July 27. More than 20 young cadres of the bureau participated in the activity and exchanged ideas.  

At the exchange meeting, two young cadre representatives made a ppt slide on the book “Freakonomics” and exchanged reading experiences from different aspects. Young cadres spoke out actively, combined with their own work and life, seriously thought about the current economic development situation in China and the investment promotion work of the bureau, and talked about their understandings of the current economic and investment promotion work.  

It is widely believed that the book " Freakonomics " uses economics to explain daily life, and uses economic analysis to explain common things that are not related to the economy. The readability is very high, and it has certain inspiration for personal work and life. Everyone said that reading activities are very meaningful. It not only gave them a chance to exchange their experiences in reading, but also strengthened the communication and understanding between young cadres, and have achieved the goal of mutual learning and improvement. Everyone hoped that various forms of reading exchange activities could be carried out more frequently.  

In the next step, the Party Committee will organize the fifth “Reading, Recommending, and Commenting Books” activity of the year in accordance with the arrangement of reading activities, and will create a strong atmosphere on the importance to study, advocating learning, and persisting in learning among the young cadres of the bureau.
