On August 31, 2018, the Regional Office held a work exchange with the Quarterly Conference Secretary of Zhongguancun Joint Military and Civilian Integration Equipment Industry Alliance. The Alliance is the first community organization in the country with main functions of military and civilian integration. It was established by the approval of the bureau under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the Zhongguancun Science Park Management Committee, and the Beijing Economic and Information Committee, It is initiated and led by the Haidian District Government.   

The secretariat of Zhongguancun Joint Military and Civilian Integration Equipment Industry Alliance is located in the Zhongguancun Military-civilian Integration Industrial Park in Haidian District, Beijing. The alliance has more than 600 member units. The Alliance aims to promote the national military-civilian integration strategy, accelerate the transformation of the capital economic development mode and the combat capability generation model of the capital; to build a military-civilian deep integration, innovation-driven development pattern, and play a leading role in the country. The Alliance is guided by regional military civilian integration strategy of science and technology innovation, and seeks guidance from the government. The Alliance promotes the benign interaction between the military and the military, further enriches the form of integration, expands the scope of integration, improves the level of integration, and policy support.  

Since established in September 2014, the Alliance has formed an industrial ecosystem including the Zhongguancun Military-industrial Industrial Park, Zhongguancun Military-civilian Integration Innovation Workshop, and the International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base. It has organized various activities such as the Civil-military Integration Innovation Challenge, and established a big data platform of Zhongguancun military and civilian integration industry.  

The two sides proposed to establish a long-term system for communication and liaison between the two sides, to realize resource sharing and information sharing through activities. The two sides agreed to further deepen the way of cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.
