On July 23, 2018, the Economic Affairs Bureau of Yokohama and Beijing Foreign Investment Enterprise Service Center successfully held the "Yokohama-Beijing Environmental Forum" in our Bureau. As one of the commemorative events marking the 12th anniversary of the establishment of a friendly exchange city between Beijing and Yokohama, the forum aims to promote the understanding of the policies and implementation of urban environmental protection between the two cities, especially exchanges and cooperation between related companies. This was also an attempt made by the bureaus to jointly organize a two-way investment project docking negotiation and have achieve desired results.  

On the forum, our Bureau and the Economic Affairs Bureau of Yokohama introduced the economic development and industrial planning of the cities respectively. Japan's well-known environmental protection company JGC Corporation, JFE, along with Beijing's leading environmental protection company Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, CPCEP, and JA Solar were able to introduce the latest environmental technologies and advanced products by theme respectively. The environmental entrepreneurs of two sides conducted discussions and exchanges at the forum, and have gained a lot of results. They expressed the willing to deepen understanding and explore cooperation models.
