On July 3, 2018, Zhou Xu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, and Zhang Hua, Vice-Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Foreign Enterprises, went to Siemens Factory Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. for investigation and offering summer cooling items.  

Director Zhou Xu and Deputy Director Zhang Hua inspected the assembling workshop of the enterprise on the spot, visited the Homes of Workers, and sent convey greetings and appreciation to the front-line workers who are working under high temperature. Both Zhou Xu and Zhang Hua brought the workers some Chinese tea and cooling drinks such as herbal tea, oolong tea, and plum syrup. They also delivered the deep care for the employees of the enterprise.    

After listening to the work reports, Mr. Zhou Xu highly affirmed multiple work of Siemens Factory Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. He pointed out that firstly, enterprises should plan their own development under the background of the great era. Foreign enterprises represented by Siemens are an important force in the economic development of Beijing, and have made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Beijing. With the socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era and with the development of Beijing entering a critical period, Siemens factories should be confident and positioned tightly around the strategic “high-end technology” of new Beijing city. It can be expected that Siemens will be able to overcome the temporary difficulties encountered in the development, grasp the new opportunities, promote the new development and realize the new promotion under the support of the relevant departments in Beijing and through their own efforts. Secondly, it is necessary to display the positive energy in the process of enterprise development. As a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, Siemens Factory has been law-abiding, positive actions and healthy development. The company has been in line with the principle of customer first, services to customers with zero distance and set up 38 offices in the country. So far the company has provided professional products and services for nearly 30,000 enterprises at home and abroad. It is desired that the company will continue to play a positive role in the society. The third, the company should be to promote a larger scope of the typical demonstration of trade unions. In 2006, the company won the title of the top 100 of China's electrical industry and ranked 93th.In 2017, it ranked 28th and was named "Top 10 Competitive Enterprises", among which trade unions played an important role. As a typical model unit in Beijing, the Siemens factory trade union has achieved fruitful results, strengthened the cohesion of enterprises and workers and displayed a good spiritual outlook.
