On July 16, 2018, Zhou Xu, secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, visited Beijing APM General Party branch to investigate the work of Party building and trade union. Deputy director Zhang Hua accompanied the investigation.  

Comrade Zhou Xu inspected the development of Party building of Beijing APM General Party branch and listened to the working report made by the person in charge of the Party Branch. Comrade Zhou Xu fully affirmed the Party building and trade union work of Beijing APM General Party branch, and believed that the Party building of the branch has a solid foundation and characteristics of Party building and trade union work integration constructions are distinct. First, the political position is high, and practically put the Party's political construction in the first place in Party building and trade union work. Second, the integration of Party building and trade union work is innovative and effective. Third, the Party members played a model role in helping enterprises develop. Fourth, the Party branch is strictly governed and managed, creating a team of Party members with their own integrity.Comrade Zhou Xu encouraged Beijing APM General Party branch to maintain and pass on good practices and good traditions. He pointed out that in the next step, the Party building work of Beijing APM should focus on the following three aspects. First, we must focus on strengthening the Party's leadership in an all-round way and further highlighting the Party's political functions and attributes. Second, we must focus on the functions of Party organizations and trade unions, stick to positions, organize and guide the study and role of party members. Third, we must focus on helping the development of enterprises, effectively safeguard the fundamental interests of employees, and further enhance the promotion function of Party organizations and trade unions. The Party Committee Office and the responsible comrades of the trade union accompanied the investigation.
