To carry out the work requirements of Beijing government on counterpart support to Lhasa via industry aid and targeted poverty alleviation, Zhou Xu, the Secretary of the Party committee and Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, led a team composed of 7 enterprises in Beijing to Lhasa to launch Tibetan business activities from June 25th to 28th.  

During the activities, Bai Ma Wan, the member of the standing committee of the Party of Tibet Autonomous Region and the Secretary of the Lhasa municipal Party committee, met with the director Zhou Xu and the team. They talked about to further strengthen the industry exchanges and cooperation between the two regions, and welcomed more enterprises to invest in Lhasa. During the events, a bilateral talk on Tibetan business cooperation was held. Tong Zhang, deputy inspector of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau; Jian Bao, Deputy Mayor of Lhasa and Deputy Leader of the Eighth Group of Tibetan Assistance; and Jianhong Zhu, the vice mayor of Lhasa and the deputy director of Beijing aid for Tibet command department attended the talk. In addition, Lhasa vice mayor Fang Guilin, Lu Congfu and other leaders also took part in the talk. Director Zhou Xu pointed out in the talk that the aim of Tibetan business trip is to implement the unified deployment of the Beijing Municipal Government's counterpart support to Lhasa. We should not only promote Beijing enterprises to invest in Lhasa, but also help promote Lhasa's superior products. Next step, he continued, we would exert our own resources and advantages to do the work of industry assistance to Tibet and accurate poverty alleviation. During the talk, 7 enterprises including Beijing bright Yu Ke An Technology Development Co., Ltd.,  Beijing Langhe Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Panjiayuan International Folk Culture Development Co., Ltd., Beijing easy medicine limited liability company, and Beijing Suiyan Xingcai culture media Co., Ltd. conducted interactive exchanges and docking negotiations with the leaders of the Lhasa municipal government, the leaders of the Department of Commerce of Lhasa, the Food and Drug Administration Bureau, and the others.   

During the business trip, the director Zhou Xu and the team inspected the industry park and key projects, such as Zhi Zhao Industry Park, Chu Bu Gou tourism development project, the Nam Lake Saint water sales project, and the cultural theme park of the net soil industry, both sides performed a docking discussion and negotiation on some projects, and 6 initial investment cooperation intentions have been reached. The projects include that Beijing Langhe Technology Co., Ltd. would set up a vacuum pump technology company in Lhasa; Beijing Suiyan Xingcai Cultural Media Co., Ltd. would build a scientific and technological innovation company in Lhasa; Beijing bright Yu Ke An Technology Development Co., Ltd. plans to cooperate with the local government in the field of mineral water sales.
