On July 3, 2018, Director Zhou Xu met with counselor Cui Kainan of the Minister of Commerce, British Embassy in China. Director Zhou Xu introduced the policy on expanding the open up for Beijing's financial industry and expressed his desire to hold a publicity meeting with regard to this policy with the British Embassy. Counselor Cui Kainan expressed the willingness to co-host this event with our bureau and will invite as many British financial institutions as possible to participate and promote their investment in Beijing. Both sides expressed their willingness to jointly organize this event as an opportunity to carry out pragmatic cooperation and jointly promote the two-way investment between Beijing and the United Kingdom. Deputy Director Zhang Hua and relevant staffs of the Business Liaison Office accompanied the meeting.
