On September 24, 2019, Xu Zongjun, deputy director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Service Center, led a team to investigate and visit Mars Food (China) Co., Ltd.. The team was accompanied by relevant staffs of the Beijing Foreign-invested Enterprises Trade Union Federation and the Association Office.  

Deputy director Xu Zongjun and his team paid a visit to Mars Food (China) Co., Ltd., located in Yanxi Development Zone of Huairou District, Beijing, and listened to the company's history, development status, future goals, basic situation of trade unions, study and training, activities and other aspects. Also, they learnt of the challenges and difficulties faced by the company and the trade union. Subsequently, deputy director Xu Zongjun, accompanied by vice general manager Lu Jinsheng and chairman of the Labor Union Yang Chungang, visited the Mars Global Food Safety Center of the Park and learned more about the establishment goals and research results of the research center. Finally, deputy director Xu Zongjun affirmed the achievements of the Mars' trade union over the years, and answered the questions raised by the enterprise and the trade union one by one and put forward solutions. After the discussion, deputy director Xu Zongjun expressed his solicitude to the company's model workers on behalf of the Beijing Foreign-invested Enterprises Trade Union Federation.
